Richard Brady, Ph.D., R.Ph.

Dr. Brady is a licensed practicing clinical pharmacist, entrepreneur and CEO of AlternaCare Services, Inc., a service contract company that offers Disease and Medication Therapy Management Services through collaborative practice agreements with his patients, their primary care physician and /or specialist through ACS’s clinical services division.

Dr. Brady is a native Floridian and his interests and hobbies outside of his practice include athletics, aviation (fixed wing pilot), music (composer and musician for piano and Bb clarinet), water sports, masonry projects, apiary science (Honey Bee Keeping) and martial arts.

Dr. Brady has received training in Clinical Nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine along with his traditional allopathic training as a Clinical Pharmacist and practiced clinical nutrition in physician’s office and in weight loss centers combining his expertise in both traditional and holistic care. Dr. Brady strongly believes in the maxim “a house divided can’t stand.” Having practiced pharmacy for 34 years he has witnessed health care practitioners fighting each other in order to protect what they consider to be their own turf losing the rewards that are available when clinicians practice collaboratively. He believes that the patient benefits when allopathic and holistic practitioners act as an interdisciplinary team employing allopathic therapies for acute and trauma care and holistic therapies for chronic care.

Dr. Brady’s post-secondary education includes a B.S. degree with a major in Zoology from the University of Florida, a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from Samford University, a Doctorate in Pharmacy from
Broadmore University and a Doctorate in the Natural Health Sciences from the University of Natural Medicine. He is currently enrolled in a Doctorate degree program at the University of
Colorado Denver. Dr. Brady is a member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), American Association of
Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Dr. Brady has been married for thirty-three years to his wife Peggy and is a father and grandfather


David Christopher, BA, MH, AHG

Brigham Young University, The School of Natural Healing

For the last 20 years David Christopher has been a popular worldwide speaker. He has generated new ideas on the management of high blood pressure, diabetes and auto-immune diseases, and was one of the first to discourage the use of Prozac in favor of natural methods. Alarmed by the growing use of Ritalin, David developed an alternative program for ADD and ADHD.

In 1974, David Christopher, M.H., took his place by his father’s side at The School of Natural Healing. David’s book entitled An Herbal Legacy of Courage is a loving tribute to his father. Today, thousands of individuals practice the art of natural healing thanks to his continued directorship and teaching.

David Christopher is a prominent herbalist in the United States and is a founding member of the American Herbalist Guild. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University, and his Master’s degree from The School of Natural Healing. David’s herbal studies began at the foot of America’s foremost herbalist, his father, Dr. John R. Christopher, MH, ND. As the director of The School of Natural Healing he ensures that the School offers the best herbal education in the field. David is also a popular radio talk show host, and his program, A Healthier You. An Herbal Legacy of Courage, a biography on his father’s life, is David’s most recent publication.


Willard H. Dean, M.D.

American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University

Dr. Dean practices holistic medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he co-founded the Center for Self-Healing. Although trained in general medicine, he specializes in preventive and behavioral
medicine, emphasizing wellness and alternative therapies. He has been on the faculty and boards of several schools of natural healing and is currently serving to help establish certification in holistic
medicine. He is a published author and is writing series of texts on the different systems of the body, their diseases and treatments. His lifestyle reflects his beliefs of health and well-being. has studied internationally to develop her eclectic expertise in the field.


Chris Irene, D.N.M

Niagara University, Canisius College, University of Natural Medicine

Dr. Irene has been an instructor in the field of Biology for 20 years and has always had a passion for alternative medicine. She is a certified Family Herbalist and the founder of Health Guide Series, a
collection of brochures which combine the areas of nutrition and supplement strategies for her patients. Dr. Irene feels that all aspects of the body need to be addressed (physically and psychologically) in order for an individual to attain maximum health. In conjunction with that belief, she has been teaching Psychology as an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix for the past 9 years.


Larry J. Milam, B.S., Ph.D., H.M.D.

Dr. Milam has been a formulator and manufacturer of nutritional products for the past 25 years. Many of his unique products are distributed throughout the world to over 60,000 doctors and
professionals. Dr. Milam is the author of three books, “Power Plant Enzymes for Vitality, Digestion and Radiant Health”, “Homeopathy, A Natural Medicine, Where the Minimum Dose Equals the
Maximum Results”, “Cancer-What Your Body is Dying to Tell You”. His home study course on nutrition is offered in 15 countries. He is the founder of “A Day with the Doctor” – A health and wellness seminar that is offered throughout the United States, Europe, and Russia, He is regularly featured in several Radio and Television shows regarding Health and Wellness topics.


Sheila Rockley, Ph.D.

Dr. Rockley possess an in-depth background in naturopathic care for animals and humans alike, with an emphasis on nutrition, incorporation of conservative therapies and an overall integration of Eastern and Western medicine practices.   Dr. Rockley has seen remarkable results in animal and human naturopathic practice and has published works showing the efficacy of naturopathic care. Dr. Rockley was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. She has had an interest in alternative medicine since early childhood and has experienced the successes of an integrative health delivery
system. With nearly 20 years of health care experience, in early 2000 she began consulting independently with health care organizations and recently served as the Vice President of Physical Health Solutions for United Health Group. Her most recent research focused on the positive impact that could be attained should US health insurance companies offer chiropractic care as a covered

In addition to decreasing overall medical spending in the US, her naturopathic training and interest also lies in incorporating and utilizing naturopathic medicine both for animals and humans;
allowing them to live healthier and happier lives. She has recently authored a children’s book which teaches children, at an early age, how to care for and respect our animal friends. Dr. Rockley opened and operated an animal diagnostics and imaging company to help those individuals that were unable to afford high cost diagnostics. She is also intricately involved in animal rescue and adoptions.   Dr. Rockley’s academic training includes a Ph.D. in Natural Health, a Master’s Degree in Business Management, a Bachelor in Psychology and a Diploma in General Medical Studies and Ophthalmology.


Vic Shayne, Ph.D.

Dr. Shayne is a writer, consultant and practitioner in the field of clinical nutrition, specializing in food science research and whole food nutrition. For the more than ten years, Dr. Shayne has written
extensively about the benefits of whole food concentrate supplementation, disease etiology relating to nutritional deficiencies, and the principles of health consciousness. Dr. Shayne earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida (1978) and holds doctorate degree from Westbrook University and from the University of Natural Medicine, Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is also certified as a transpersonal psychologist, iridologist, qi gong instructor and Chinese lymphatic massage therapist.


Mark Dargan Smith, N.D., Ph.D., M.D. (MA)

Dr. Mark Smith is Chairman of the Board, and Dean of the American Institute of Integrative Medicine. He has lectured and practiced in health clinics throughout the United States, Canada, Central and South America, Asia, and New Zealand. He has studied and worked with Osteopaths, Homeopaths, Naturopaths and Medical Doctors in acquiring his expertise in the holistic health field and offers over 27 years of experience as an alternative health care practitioner of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Smith has coordinated the outstanding curriculum and design of the programs for AIIM and is responsible for the recruitment of the faculty for these courses. He was also the creator, designer and Dean of the College of Natural Healing Arts and Sciences program.


Ellen Tart Jensen, D.Sc.

Appalachian State University, University of New Mexico, Westbrook University and is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Natural Medicine

Dr. Ellen Tart Jensen has been involved with natural healing and nutrition since 1979 and studying Iridology since 1983. Ellen spent four years working side by side with Dr. Bernard Jensen, considered by many to be the Father of Iridology in the United States. Dr. Tart Jensen spent two years in Switzerland where she studied natural healing methods at a health clinic. This diverse background has enabled her to work with many types of people and their problems. Dr. Tart Jensen is an author of books on nutrition, body systems, and iridology. Dr. Tart-Jensen teaches classes in Iridology, nutrition, herbology and mind/body healing techniques throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, Costa Rica and Columbia.


Adiel Tel-Oren, D.C., M.D., CCN, DABCN, FABDA

Dr. Adiel Tel-Oren is president of Integrated HealthCare Clinics, Inc., a growing facility offering multi-disciplinary health care services under one roof. Dr. Tel-Oren graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas and from NWCC before obtaining his medical diploma from the prestigious Pirogov Moscow Medical Institute (aka RSMU). He holds licenses in nutrition, chiropractic, and general medicine (the latter in Europe and Asia) and numerous certificates including clinical nutrition and darkfield hematology.
